Did you have a chance to stop by Lauren’s blog and get last week’s Kids for Kindness challenge?

This was an exciting challenge for us because we’ve had a loose change jar for a few years and even used it at the end of last year for our Thankful Giving Jar! We started it back when we were first looking into adoption, as a way of saving every penny…literally! 🙂
Today, we’re excited to start saving for another great cause…one we haven’t decided on yet! Of course, Moriah isn’t old enough yet to understand what we’re doing, but she loves to pick up loose change and add it to the jar for me!
It should be fun to see how she understands things as the year goes on — I can’t believe she’ll already be 2 in two weeks!
So, were you able to (or are you planning to) do this week’s random act of kindness? How did it go with your kids?
And, if you blogged about it be sure to link your post up here!

I am not a part of the challenge, but I do think it is lovely. I remember really liking what I read last week. I think your change jar is a great idea. I’m going to talk to my family about doing that tonight.
