With the July 4th weekend upon us, I have to admit that my American “pride” is a bit deflated as of late. I can’t help but be sorrowful as I look at the decisions that are being made in our nation, and downright fearful of where we’re headed in the near future.
The truth is – we need Jesus! I’m so thankful for Jennifer and her post this week, The Blessing America Most Needs. Her honesty is a breath of fresh air in the craziness of today.
Head over and be encouraged…

I’m humbled and honored to be featured, friend.
A dear sister in Christ reminded me just last night of a very fitting verse in Hebrews 12: “…everything that was created will be destroyed—that is, the things that can be shaken. And only what cannot be shaken will remain.”
My prayer is that as our government is shaken, and even the very fabric of our society is threatened, it will only serve to shine a bright light on that which cannot be shaken – our great and glorious God. It may very well be HIS finest hour. I’m so thankful to have a like-minded and like-hearted friend and co-laborer in you, Christie!
Thanks for hosting! Hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July weekend 🙂
