7 Makeup Must Haves

I’ll confess.  I have been struggling with what to write about for this article!  So, when in doubt, go with what you know, right?!?  So here’s a list of 7 makeup items I’ve been loving recently!

7 Makeup Must Haves:

1. Bronzer.  I know some people may think using bronzer is a bit much.  I used to be one of those people.  I decided to try using it, and I like the effect it gives.  N.Y.C. has a bronzer in the shade “Sunny” that is super affordable; it works well and lasts a long time.

2. Mascara.  I have 2 mascaras that I think are worth mentioning here.  Tarte “Lights, Camera, Lashes” is a nice every day mascara that volumizes beautifully.  Maybelline “Chaotic” is for those of us who want people to know we are wearing mascara and lots of it 🙂

3. Blush.  I have been using both of these blushes lately and really like the color pay off.  They are pricey, but they will last a very long time.  Too Faced has two different shades that I really like:  “Peach Beach” and “Something about Berry“.  Depending upon what look you are going for, they are great for both day time and nighttime wear!

4. Face Brushes.  Eco Tools Bamboo Bronzer Brush is great for bronzing the face!  Real Techniques makes an awesome, affordable powder brush that I use every single time I apply my makeup.  And last but not least for the brushes, Target’s brand Up and Up blush brush is great and affordable!

5. Liquid Eyeliner.  I’ve recently gotten back into liquid liner after a years long hiatus.  I have a few favorites that are all from the drugstore:  Loreal Paris Infallible Super Slim Liner, Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum, and N.Y.C. Liquid Eyeliner.

6. Brow Gel.  I recently discovered this Loreal Brow Stylist Plumper Brow Gel Mascara and have really been enjoying it so far.  It gives a hint of color while locking the brows in place.

7. Lips.  I absolutely love the Revlon Color Stay Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain range.  It has 12 shades and they are moisturizing and easy to apply.  The color “Honey” is my favorite 🙂

What are some of your favorite makeup products?
