Yes, weeks later, my heart is still breaking over the fallout within the church over the Supreme Court decision to legalize same-sex marriage. No, it was no surprise that a worldly government would make such a worldly decision, but the church. My friends, members of the church, are falling apart and failing to completely stand on the word of God. It is in this time that we realize which friends believe the authority of Scripture and which don’t, and for a lot of us – that’s heartbreaking.
