This post is a sponsored post campaign through Sverve. Although I was compensated for my time, all opinions are my own.
When Kharis was first born, I worried a bit about how Moriah would react when we brought her new sister home. At just over two years old, I knew that there were many ways that she could react. I knew there was the possibility that she’d absolutely hate the concept of this new baby. I feared that she would regress, be more clingy, and just downright hard to handle.
“Kathy developed this game with her children in mind, her two youngest were especially interested in playing ‘Mom’ and it occurred to her that such a universal game as ‘pretend’ parental play, would translate into a great app.”
iMommy allows children, ages two to ten, to create their own baby (choosing between four different ethnicities, eye and hair color, and outfits) and then take care of their baby. This interactive game allows children to play with the baby; including feeding, changing, and putting to bed. The baby interacts with the child as they play the game, including letting them know when they’re not happy!
Moriah loved playing iMommy and it kept her busy for quite a while. I loved that she was able to figure it all out pretty quickly and kind of do things on her own. She was able to feed the baby, put the baby to bed, and play with the baby in the playroom all with iMommy Lite’s free app. Additional rooms and activities were available for purchase, too.
If your child loves babies and helping take care of their younger siblings, I think this app would be great for them to put those skills to use! iMommy would also be great for little ones that are expecting a new baby in the near future. This app would allow them to see what goes into caring for a new baby and how to help to care of them, too. Whatever your reason, iMommy offers interactive play for younger children that love babies!
Moriah will be a great Mommy one day, but she can practice today!

How very, very sweet! I know that few things warm my heart more than seeing my children love on each other. I’m so glad you’re getting to experience that joy as well!! 🙂
