Thomas Nelson provided a copy of God’s Love for You for me to review and keep. All opinions are my own!
Moriah will be three in January and she’s already been on three mission trips! Prayerfully we’ll be able to take her and Kharis on our family mission trip this summer; it will be Kharis’ first! It is our hope that our girls will always know that the world is much bigger than their every day life. It is our hope that they will know that the Lord’s heart reaches far beyond our local church and that He loves children and people all over the world. Our aim is that they would have a heart to share His love with others through missions, at home and abroad.
God’s Love For You Bible Storybook is an awesome tool that shares the bible and stories about the Gospel being proclaimed around the world. Through this resource, our kids are introduced to real life stories from far away lands, opening their eyes to the need for God’s word to be proclaimed to the nations.
World Vision CEO Rich Stearns and his wife, Renee, use their real life encounters with families around the world and enter twine them with beautifully illustrated bible stories. What I love most about this bible storybook is that all author royalties benefit World Vision’s work with children in need!
Here’s what Tommy Nelson has to say about this great resource!

Got to church more than 1 time every 3 months.
Mostly by homeschooling and being involved in church. My older kids have expressed interest in missions, we just haven’t been able to afford to take them yet.
My daughter in law home schools my granddaughters and they are very involved with their church and church activities, all my children have grown and I have grandsons who serve as alter boys and are also involved with their church,
I really want my little princess to be with me while I’m out ministering as much as possible, and for her to see her father leading Bible studies. Of course we will read Bible stories to her and teach her to pray, but I want us to truly lead by example.
xoxo
I plan on teaching them in everything we do. The most important lessons learned are sometime the smallest. When you teach them to be good people, and to follow their hearts, they will easily start to understand how God molds everything we do.
I plan on teaching them by going to church and we talk about God.
My daughter is grown. She’s seen many answered prayers and miracles so she loves God and is saved. Now I’m working on praying for her fiance. Thank you 🙂
I teach them to pray. I read them the scriptures. I take them to Church. I teach them to be like Jesus. 🙂
I plan on teaching my children the same way my mother taught me…with love, patience, and deep belief. If you don’t truly believe then how can you teach your children to believe?
We go to church, discuss what was learned at church through the week and read bible stories at bedtime.
We teach bible stories.
I plan to teach my children by example

We participate in monthly service of our time, we donate food (we are a Title I school), and look for people that we can give our outgrown/unused items.

I brought my children up in the church, had them baptized and confirmed at the appropriate ages. We went to church weekly, along with Sunday School and summer vacation Bible School. We prayed together at home, read the Bible and let God work through us to do good deeds and become model citizens.
I plan on teaching them by going to church and reading to them the bible each night
Great contest. Count me in. Good luck everyone..
