I am so excited to get started on our fall bible study! I’ve been anticipating this time with all 18 of you since I made the announcement a few weeks ago! I pray that our time together will be encouraging and lead us into a more intimate relationship with the Lord.
I’d like to use today as an introduction time. If you have a blog, I’d love for you to link up and then leave a comment below introducing yourself and telling us a little bit about why you signed up, what you hope to take away from our time together, and any prayer requests you may have.
My plan for the study is to post each week’s lesson and my thoughts on it each Wednesday morning. If you’d like to blog about, I’ll provide a linky for you to share your post with the group. If you’d rather just leave a comment with what you learned from the week’s lesson, that’s fine too! I’d like to make this a time where we freely discuss our thoughts and ideas with one another, just like we would if we were sitting together in real life! So please feel free to comment as often as you’d like (on other’s comments, too!) and make sure you come back often to see if there are any new discussions going on.
If you’ve stopped by today and you’re not signed up for the study, but you’d like to join us, please feel free to visit our book study announcement, sign up, grab your book, and jump right in!
Also, please grab the image below and add it to your bible study blog posts or sidebar so that others can join us each week, too!
I’m blessed to have each of you here and look forward to growing in the Lord with you!

I’m Stephanie, married, 3 kids who are 5, 4, and almost 3. I joined the study to help keep myself accountable. I have two other studies I am doing with my local church and I know I am overwhelming myself a bit but at the same time, I feel that if I don’t, I may just give it all up and not do what I feel I am called to do. Prayer request right now is a friend’s baby, Brynleigh, is 6 months and has HLHS (Hypoplasmic Left Heart Syndrome) and is currently in Denver going through heart failure. They are waiting for a heart transplant. The prayers are working well right now as she has seemed to come back to herself, but without a heart soon, that all could change. Her parents are trying their best but I know they are stressed as well as this has been a long battle of 6 months already.

Hey Stephanie! I’m so glad to have you joining us and look forward to getting to know you! I think we all need a little more accountability in our lives and I pray that this study, and our time together, does just that!
I’ve been praying for Brynleigh and sharing her prayer needs with my FB fans (since you mentioned her in a comment a few weeks ago). Continuing to pray that the Lord provides a heart, heals her little body, and comforts her family in the meantime.

Excited about this! It’s been a while since I’ve participated in a book study on the blog, but it’s been something I’ve needed for a while. I wanted to get my blog back on track and this will definitely help. Thanks for hosting!

Megan, I’ve been needing to get back to Christian topics, too. And completely agree with you on the amount of thought and time that goes into them. I never want to lose sight of why I started this blog…Him and His glory! Praying that we all benefit from our time together!

To be honest, I signed up because I’m completely intrigued by the idea of doing a Bible study on a blog. Very, very neat! Can’t wait to see how it comes together!
I’m Rebecca. I’m married to my best friend, Sean, and we have two-year-old quadruplets: Caleb, Abigail, Elijah, and Elizabeth. Our blog started as a way to keep friends and family in the loop about our pregnancy, but it’s grown to include a little of everything (kid milestones, projects, recipes, DYI, giveaways) including how I’m walking out my faith in Jesus. Excited to see what I learn here!

Hello All, I am Corine. I have a full time job in management, a website that I manage, two books that I self-published (which means I am also responsible for every aspect of them). So with all that I have going on, I find it hard to stay accountable in my walk with Christ. Therefore, I joined this study as a way of keeping myself accountable. I also like the idea it is on line and my time (so much of my life is sitting, I find myself shying away from in-person Bible studies because I don’t want to be obligated to sit).

Hi my name is Wanda and I am really excited about being a member of the study group. For a very long time I have been out of touch with God and my inner self I am slowly but surely getting to know God on a personal level again and it feels wonderful. I still have a long way to go but I am not where I was .. I feel like the study group will take me to a new level of understanding of the word and how to apply it to my daily life and open a line of hope and belief that I so need in my life. I look forward to meeting, studying, praying and getting to know each one of you …thanks so much for having me… Wanda

Hello my name is Victoria and I blog about Life as Mrs Aguila at http://faithhopeandtreasures.blogspot.com. I have never done an online bible study especially on a blog so I was just all for this. I would like to grow deeper in my walk with Jesus and allow God to connect us and use us for His glory.
my prayer request would be for God to open my womb and bless us with our babies soon.
I look forward to our time together. Thank you Christie for putting this together.
