Kids for Kindness

January 4, 2013 by Christie 4 Comments

Our Thankful Giving Jar ended with the New Year and I’m happy to report that we’ve chosen to give our money to a former youth of ours who’s going into missions!

Our total for a month full of thankfuls was 38!  That means we had at least one thing to be thankful for every day!  I’m blessed to be able to reflect on all that we have and then give back to someone else!  What a blessing it is to serve a God that gives so graciously to us!

Now that our Thankful Giving Jar is over, I didn’t want it to end!  So, I’ve teamed up with Lauren from Tutus & Tea Parties to bring you….

This year we are taking on a challenge, and I would love for you to join us. I’m sure you’ve noticed how crazy this world can be. I believe that this year is a year of change, and we need to involve our children in this change because our children are our future!

I challenge you, as a family, to do a random act of kindness for each week of 2013. Tutus & Tea Parties will post a prompt for you to do each Friday as a family. Each prompt will be kid friendly. She will be sharing her experience the following week with a new prompt for you.

Tutus & Tea Parties will have a link up for you to share your experiences of the previous week as well. No worries if you skip here and there or do something different to fit in with your schedule/lifesyle. The point is, we all need to be kind and we need to teach our children to be kind. Kindness is contagious…so please, catch it and pass it on!

If you’re in, please grab the button and hop on over to Tutus & Tea Parties for the first Kids for Kindness RAK (Random Act of Kindness).
