Adoption Tax Credit

December 22, 2011 by Christie 1 Comment

I’ve been reading on a few blogs lately that people have been having problems getting their tax refunds this year.

If any of you have experienced long wait times, etc. please leave a comment with tips on what you’ve learned about filing for the adoption tax credit, what needs to be sent when filing, and other tips on how to get the return back as quickly as possible.

If we decide to move forward with our adoption, our refund would be a great help and we would need it quickly!!

If you feel more comfortable emailing me directly, you can do that at Kitzers3@msn.com

Send in EVERYTHING photocopied!!! – all receipts, cancelled checks or check copies, your bank statements showing those checks were cashed,

Make a GREAT cover sheet explaining it all in bullet points and listed!

As soon as you even think your taxes have reached the desk call!!!!

We ended up getting an advocate- if you do that- call them DAILY- twice daily!!!! Whatever it takes!!!! Don’t be afraid to offend. This is what we did and we finally saw results!!!!
