Nothing…

January 8, 2011 by Christie 11 Comments

…not a word.

Yep, we heard nothing this week!

I’m still not quite sure how I feel about not hearing about an adoption committee meeting that was supposed to be had this week. I guess I’m just praying that something was accomplished!!

And, to add to our wait, we have a winter storm coming through on Monday; I’m sure delays and closures will abound, especially at a particular DSS!

My constant prayer is for sustanance, a calm spirit, and for the Lord’s will in it all. Do you mind continuing to pray!?

I’m determined to have some sort of news the next time you hear from me, let’s just hope I haven’t lost all of my readers by then! 😉

I know it is so so hard! I have been there. I promise you everything is in God’s timing. I look back at my moments of frustration when I wondered why God was putting us through what we were going through and now I see all the steps that lead us to our children and without those steps it would have never happened. Praying for you as you wait. Can’t wait to here either. =)

As I texted you (sorry, it wasn’t very detailed b/c I was at Kam’s game), while this is at the top of your priorites, it isn’t always the case at DSS. Joe & I were remembering how many times “big” things were supposed to be happening with Kaya, but they would get put on the back burner OR someone would just plain get so busy they would forget to call us. It is not fun at all!! Hang in there!!
