The Exciting News!

December 8, 2010 by Christie 8 Comments

Ugh, sorry to keep you waiting! You know, since I haven’t been keeping up with the blog very well lately, I figured I had to give you something to come back for today! 😉

Well, on Tuesday mornings, a group of about 15 ladies at my church meet to go through a book study. Yesterday morning we gathered together and, like always, before we started we went around and shared prayer requests…

I let all of the ladies know that we had been chosen for an interview for “Little J” and that we’d been waiting for a week to set up the interview with the social worker. Basically, a praise, but a prayer as well; my patience was wearing thin!

So, I ran around with my friend all day yesterday and got home around 3:30pm. I immediately went to check my email…

Around 10:30am, the same time prayer requests were being given to the Lord, “J’s” social worker emailed with an interview time and date!

December 21 at 11am, it is!

Please, please, please be in continual prayer for us. We are one of a few (not sure how many) families being interviewed for this beautiful little boy (I wish you all could see him!) and we are falling in love with him, already!

We are anxious! I hate feeling like we’re competing for our child and we’re trying to do all that we can to make our home look “ready” for him!

I love you guys and can’t tell you how thankful I am for all of you and your prayers! Keep em’ coming!

Praying with you and Q! How exciting Christie – remember that God will bring you both the child He has selected before time began and if Little J is it – then there is no competition at all. No one else will be selected. God will ensure it is you!

    Love you!

YEAH!!!! Remember it is NOT competition….because it is in God’s Hands. If we prepare our hearts for HIM specifically to do HIS WILL…..it is for HIS GLORY.

    DEFINITELY PRAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God has you and your child in His hands. Praying for the peace that passes understanding as you wait with expectation and hope. God is clearly working.
