After catching up on a few blogs, I figured I would just do my “Christmas Shopping for a Purpose” post this way…
If you (or someone you follow) is doing a fundraiser for their adoption, leave your/their information (name, type of fundraiser, and blog address) in a comment. I will be putting together one post in the next few days in order to give people some Christmas ideas and also share it on my Facebook page.
So, comment away! Let’s see what kind of interest we can get…
The following two tabs change content below.
Christie is a stay-at-home mom to two beautiful little girls, a pastor's wife, and lover of Jesus. Her hope is that STC would be a source of encouragement for women all over the world!

Well you know I will comment 😉
Me & my husband are currently sponsored by Worthy of the Prize… they are having a Chosen Child Adoption Auction on Nov. 4-7! Check it out here: http://worthyoftheprize.blogspot.com/2010/09/chosen-child-adoption-auction.html. The Fold-And-Go Organizer from Thirty-One Gifts is the item I have donated… whatever proceeds are raised through the entire Auction will be split between the 18 sponsored families. Whatever money is raised by auctioning off the Fold-And-Go Organizer goes straight to US! 🙂
Also, through WOTP, they are selling 3 different adoption-related items that will go to our adoption fund if you choose our name “The McLambs” from the menu or put it in the comment section at checkout. The 3 items are a t-shirt personalized with your country or state of adoption, the Chosen Child necklace engraved with your baby’s name on it, and the Adoption fit bands! You can check that out here: http://www.worthyoftheprizeshop.com/. Just look for anything with “Chosen” or “chosen child” on it! And don’t forget to choose our name (McLamb) in the appropriate section or write it in the comment box upon checkout! 😉
Lastly (whew, thank goodnes!) we are selling cookbooks that we’ve put together with about 500 recipes from grandmothers and chefs alike! They are $15 and can be purchased by emailing me at tara.mclamb@gmail.com.
