Remember this post exactly a week ago when our social worker said that she would have our homestudy done last week? Well, I never heard back from her and decided to send her an email over the weekend so that she would get it first thing in the morning on Monday. And…I never heard anything!
I got in touch with her supervisor yesterday who said, “I haven’t seen your homestudy at all and I haven’t been able to get in touch with her either. I’ve tried to call her all day and haven’t heard anything. I’m starting to worry.” So, I left it at that and she told me she would continue to try to get in touch with her.
I called her cell phone after hanging up with the supervisor and it went straight to her voicemail. I planned to leave a message but her voicemail was full. Worried, I said a prayer for her safety and went to bed.
Her supervisor called an hour ago and said that she’d gotten in touch with her….she was sick yesterday and forgot to call…her supervisor or anyone else!
So, long story short, the supervisor received our homestudy this morning and sent it back for some revisions. She promised me that it would be done this week and to the main office in Greensboro by the end of the week. The review team will look at it and approve it next week!
Keep praying! I know that God is working and that His timing is PERFECT!!

Oh, my word, being patient has never been a strength of mine. Glad things are getting in order!
