The Gift of Single-ness

August 25, 2010 by Christie 2 Comments

As I prepare my mind and heart for our first Teen Talk Tuesday (TTT) topic of purity (…grab the button to your right!), I continue to come across relevant material.

I don’t feel led to speak about the topic of “The Gift of Single-ness” in relation to TTT, so I figured I would share a blog that I’ve come to love and today’s post on God’s provision for single women.

Q has briefly mentioned to our youth that God may call some of them to be single…I think this blog post is an honest portrayal of the path that the Lord may call some of them (or even you!) to in the future. It also speaks of God’s unwavering presence and sufficiency…

P.S.
I just finished reading the blog author’s book “Radical Womanhood”…I’d highly recommend it!

I am also patiently waiting to do foster to adopt. We have been approved for a placement since april 26th. I have registered with several sites and called and faxed my homestudy all over the place. It is so hard to be patient when you feel like there are so many kids out there that need a home. I just found your blog and will keep you in my prayers. I am sure your beatiful child is out there and will be brought to you at the perfect time. We had one Foster to adopt placement that ended sadly so we lowered our age group. You can keep up with me at growingwithjoy.blogspot.com I look forward to following your journey!
