I feel like I’ve been really quiet around here lately. Maybe because I’ve had a lot on my mind but can’t really say much right now. Will you just lift us up by name today? God knows the situation and He knows the final outcome…nothing bad, I promise 😉
On another note, be praying for me this Thursday to Sunday! I’m taking 11 of our girls in the youth group (along with 3 chaperones) to the mountains of Virginia for a girl’s retreat. This is the first time I’ve done anything like this, first time I’ve taken the “reigns”, planned all of the lessons and activities and flown solo without Q. Will you pray that God would speak through me, that these girl’s would have open hearts, minds, and ears to receive all that God has for them this weekend?
My heart has been so heavy for them lately. I guess just knowing that school is about to start and the world and satan are coming full force. They need all the prayer they can get to be solid, sold out, and on fire for Jesus. Some of them need the strength to “stand alone” amidst an “audience of One”.
God has great things in store…praying that they would see that, accept it, and RUN with it!
