Well, it is Tuesday, but we received our homestudy through email this afternoon!!! Oh, how exciting! I have skimmed through it and will sit down with Q to go over/correct it tonight!
One more step…done!
On another note, I stopped by the AdoptUsKids.org website this afternoon and ran across this precious boy. Can he get any cuter!? Unfortunately, since our homestudy hasn’t been approved yet, it looks like we won’t have the opportunity to inquire about him. God’s timing is perfect!!
Other than that, not much exciting is happening around here!
Jill, Lexi, and I are praying about and gearing up for Teen Talk Tuesday starting in 2 weeks! I will be posting on September 14 on the subject of purity. I’ve been soaking up material and praying for the Lord’s guidance on this one. Will you pray with me?

Oh that site is dangerous for me! I fall in love with kids all the time and my husband has to remind me of God’s perfect timing. Hoping your homestudy is perfect!
What exciting news! And yes, that little boy is adorable. As you said, God’s timing is perfect, and He will bring you the perfect child at the perfect time.

God’s timing IS perfect and you will be amazed when you do finally meet the little person God has in mind for you!
Did you know we saw E’s picture before we were matched. My heart did a back flip and I spent the whole next day in church, sobbing my way through worship and feeling guilty for feeling so attached and coveting someone elses child, to such an extreme. When we arrived home that day, I opened up my email to HIS medical file and mug shot! It was such a special moment that I think the Lord blessed us with to hold me through the painful year to come. The knowledge that HE is in control and that nothing can stop HIS plan :o)
