As you can tell, we’ve been doing some “decorating” around here! Well, I can’t take any credit honestly…my friend Jill (Thanks, Jill!) did my makeover today…all within 30 minutes, because she’s talented like that! We’re gearing up for Teen Talk Tuesday starting in September. Head on over to Jill’s site and grab the “Teen Talk Tuesday” button to share on your blogs. Our first topic for the month of September will be purity. Tell all of the teen girls (and boys) you know about it. It’s sure to change some lives!
On another note. Q sent me an email today with a question and answer on transracial adoption with Thabiti Anyabwile, pastor of First Baptist Church of Grand Caymen. You can read his perspective here.
We’re really excited to attend a conference at Southeastern Theological Seminary in September. Pastor Anyabwile (along with David Platt, Matt Chandler, Daniel Akin and Mark Dever) will be speaking. If you happen to live in the Carolinas (or not) and are planning to attend, let me know and we can plan to meet in real life! 🙂 The cost is only $45….not bad for the speakers you’ll be hearing!
And on another note, we should have a draft of our homestudy sent to us by the end of the week.
