Born-Again

July 10, 2010 by Christie 6 Comments

I feel so out of the loop! We got home last night around 7pm from our mission trip. It was a great week of missions in South Carolina. We’ve come to realize that while on mission, nothing ever goes as planned! But, we do know that God’s purpose and will was completed and our work was for His glory.

One night I sat there thinking, “We aren’t reaching these kids, nothing’s going as planned, blahblahblah!” But then I thought, “God doesn’t need us to accomplish His will and purposes. God is glorified in all things and in every circumstance.”

I’m just thankful He chose me to GO.

That leads to my next topic…It’s my Birthday!!!

24 years ago today, my mother gave birth to me…but that’s not the exciting part…almost 4 years ago (in October) Jesus Christ saved me. It was and always will be the greatest day of my life.

So, chronologically I am 24 but spiritually I am almost 4. Can you believe that!? I’ve learned and grown more in the past 4 years than I ever did my first 20! I’m thankful for those 20 because God allowed me to fall on my butt many times in order to prepare me for who He was going to mold me into in the future.

I can’t express my gratitude for the saving grace of Jesus Christ…I would never want to be who I used to be…I am born-again in Jesus Christ…

I hope you all are doing well…I have not (and probably won’t be able to) been able to keep up with your blogs this week. I will attempt to go back and skim through them. If anything note-worthy happened in your lives this past week, please leave me a message and let me know.

I’m thankful for all of you (my blog friends) today…you’ve made these past 8 months or so, a joy!
