Q had the great idea to look up some recipes today and we’d make a “from scratch” meal tonight…
Boy, was that a lot of work!!! I’m worn out but it sure was good.
We had Paul*a Deen’s recipes for:
The Lady and Sons Chicken Fingers (can’t get Q away from chicken!)
Crunch Onion Rings
Green Beans with Caramelized Onions
Sparkling Sweet Strawberry Lemonade
and…Paula’s Lemon Cake
We haven’t put the cake together yet but hoping that turns out well.
Other than that, it’s been a pretty rainy day here. Did a lot of housework and hung out in our pajamas for the day.
On the Homestudy front, we made an appointment to get our physicals done this Thursday. Be praying that would go smoothly!! We still have LOTS to do before our next meeting on June 25…we are so excited!!
