I figured I would update, although I have no update!
Q is doing well. I haven’t actually heard from him since Saturday but have sent messages back and forth on Facebook. They are working really hard. If you get a chance and are on Facebook, you can search “Finish The Wall” and see the work that they are doing in Trinidad. Continued prayers for safety, strength, and God’s mighty hand in ministry throughout the rest of the week.
My day was full. Starting out with our ladies bible study at church. I’m so blessed to be able to spend one day a week with Godly, wise women that love Jesus. I never knew how important relationships with other women were until I found some great ones at our church.
I then came home to “relax” for a few hours which ended up consisting of being on the phone with Chrysler trying to get them to foot the bill for my car. No such luck…will never be buying a Chrysler again 🙂
I then went to my little babysitting job. I haven’t seen the kids in 2 weeks and was excited to get back and tickle and hug on them. I’ve been really surprised to see how far I have come, emotionally, with being around children, especially babies. It used to put a knot in my stomach to see pregnant women and babies. But, God has really given me a peace about where he has us going in our lives. I know that as long as we are in His will, we are perfectly okay. Thank you, Lord for changing my heart and giving me peace…
After babysitting I went to watch my nephew at soccer practice. I love being involved in every little thing that he’s involved in. God has truly blessed us by enabling us to be back “home” and be able to be involved with our families like we are.
So, I’m home now, enjoying the quiet house and the rest of my night. Be in prayer for me tomorrow as I will be teaching our youth. I’m usually Q’s right hand wo(man) and don’t have to teach. But, God is calling me out of my comfort zone tomorrow…thank you, Lord 😉
