Yes, that’s right, Q is home!! Aren’t you glad, now you don’t have to hear me whine…about that anyway 😉
It was a very long week, complete with drama, staying busy, girl-time, and reflection on how much I really do love my husband. Have you ever noticed that when you spend every waking moment together you start to lose sight of the blessing that God has given you in your mate? Well, I am fully thankful for the man that God has given me. I’ve just enjoyed being in his presence and having him home.
I know this is going to sound horrible, but I was thinking about my next blog update in church yesterday (just a brief loss of concentration on the sermon) and how Q’s coming home relates to our relationship with Christ and this is what I came up with…
Why did God create us? He sure didn’t need us! One reason is because he wanted to make man in His image. But, he also wanted a companion.
Now, knowing how I longed for Q to return home this week, can you imagine how God long’s for us to come home? Now, I don’t want to make it seem like God is begging us to come to Him, but He rejoices when his elect come home. The angels in heaven rejoice when another life is saved from eternity in Hell.
I know that I am home in the arms of Christ. I know that, even though this world is not my home, being in God’s will is as close to my eternal home as I can get on this earth. I couldn’t imagine my life without Christ…I know what my life used to be and I know what it is now…I am so thankful that before the beginning of time, God knew that I would be His…wow!
To all of my brothers and sisters in Christ…welcome home.
Welcome home Q…I’ve missed you.
