Today is a big day!
First, I want to thank those that gave insight about adoption letters. All of the feedback was great and I used it to help make our decision (along with prayer).
So, with that said….we mailed out our first 60 letters this morning. Oh gosh, my stomach is in knots! But, we prayed over them last night, asking that God would soften the hearts of his people, that they would understand our reasoning and our goal, and that they would (more than anything) see the gospel through this.
The majority of the people that we sent them to were former (and current) church family, as well as people from the church that Quintell grew up in in Alabama.
I will post the letter in my next blog update. Until then, be praying for those mail carriers and the hearts of the people that will receive these letters this week.
Also, we are meeting with a domestic adoption agency in South Carolina this afternoon. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this agency and have spoken, through email, with the director. She has agreed to meet with us today to answer any questions we have.
So, now I need to go write down my questions!! I don’t have much time…Q will be picking me up in about 45 minutes to go to the high school to have lunch with some of our kids.
PRAY, PRAY, PRAY!!!

Wonderful news! That is all God asks of us, to step out in faith, He will pave the way. Can’t wait to see the great response I am sure you will have from those letters.
