Back in April (yes, we’re still giving away April’s resources!) Tommy Nelson gave me the opportunity to review Hermie & Friends: I Will Tell the Truth and Be Careful What I Say, a cute children’s DVD about telling the truth. Tommy Nelson sent me a copy to review for free, but all opinions are my own.
In the first episode, Flo the Lyin’ Fly, Flo the fly runs into some trouble when she tells a few too many lies. With a spin on The Little Boy Who Cried Wolf, Flo realizes her friends are nowhere to be found when she really is telling the truth!
In episode two, The Flo Show Creates a Buzz, Flo starts her own talk show, The Flow Show, and finds herself making fun of her friends for the sake of a good laugh. In the end she realizes that she needs to be careful what she says and apologize to her friends.
I love that each of these stories teach early life lessons in an engaging way. Moriah and Kharis will enjoy this DVD for years to come.
Here’s what Tommy Nelson has to say about this great resource:
