Meet Dina of Sonshine Graphic Studios!

November 30, 2012 by Christie 7 Comments

Once again, I’ve had the blessing of working with another great Etsy shop owner this month!  I’d love to introduce you to Dina of Sonshine Graphic Studios!

But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD. ~Joshua 24:15~

My name is Dina. I am predominately a self-taught artist. My passion is and always has been art. I have been blessed with tons of creative energy. I love to write, illustrate, design, paper craft, and digitally paint and illustrate. It was through my love for drawing and painting combined with my love for computers, that I also became interested in digital illustration and design.

Several Years Ago….
After many years of searching and a few disappointments, I decided to surrender my gift to God. I asked Him, to either take His gift back or give me a sign that He wanted me to use it for His glory. Twenty minutes later, I drew, what would soon become, my first (in a series of) “Huggles” character.

As I sat at my drawing table in awe of His immediate response, I opened my bible and Psalm 60:12, “With God’s Help, We Will Do Mighty Things”, stared me in the face. This verse has become my hope.

I have been on fire for the Lord ever since and serve constantly in many different capacities in my church. One of which included painting floor to ceiling murals in our childrens’ wing and nursery area. I praise God everyday for calling my name and taking me as His own to be used as an instrument to further His kingdom.
