Through the last several years, God has used our circumstances to do amazing things. In January of 2007 I had to quit my full-time job as a Senior Graphic Designer at a large medical manufacturer so I could have the flexibility to get Peyton to all of her therapy appointments. I was completely overwhelmed and burnt out with a newborn who wasn’t sleeping well and a 2 ½ year old who was the size of a 4 year old and still wasn’t walking and required lots of extra care than other kids that age. We had NO idea how on earth we’d survive on one income (my husband was a 3rd grade teacher at the time), but our hope was that I would be able to pick up some freelance jobs on the side that would help supplement our family’s income. Little did we know how He would provide for our family both monetarily as well as emotionally and spiritually! Libby Design (my freelance business) took off and has been going strong for over 5 years. While all of this was taking place, deep down in my heart, I longed to focus more on scripture-based artwork and stationery. Growing up I was the card-making queen, just ask my mom. I always had a project going on. My dream finally became a reality in March of 2011 when I opened Red Letter Ink What started out as a small, fun little way for me to express my creativity by creating artwork, using verses that have given me strength over the past several years slowly turned in to an incredible opportunity for me to bless others with my art.

I love her stuff! Looking forward to the giveaway!
Thanks for sharing this with us. I feel the same way about my testimony-grew up in a Christian home, became a Christian at a young age. I felt the same way about not having a “share-worthy” testimony. But, now I realize that by having Jesus in my life at an early age…I avoided a lot of sins that I might have gotten into otherwise. Aimee, your children are so cute!

everytime I read a story of God’s provision I’m reminded of those strong ladies of the Bible; Esther, Hannah, Ruth, Rahab, Abigail, Mary, Elizabeth, Lydia. We truly have a heritage from the Lord. Thank you for your sweet testimony and your art, that talent He has gifted you with!
