Our family has been through a whirlwind of events in the last three months. Things were so crazy there for a while that I didn’t know how we weren’t both just balled up in a corner waiting for the storm to pass. Fortunately, the Lord carried us through and things have begun to calm down.
Our marriage took a beat down for those few months! With so much stress and so much going on, it was easy to get angry at the one that was closest…him! It was easiest to take out the frustration and anger and sadness and disappointment on…him! What I wouldn’t have given to have a few items from the Mr. & Mrs. Love Collection from DaySpring
to help show our love for one another during that rough time.
Fortunately, the Lord has given us this season of calm to rekindle what was battered during those few months. It feels like this all over again…
Life can get so busy and marriage becomes one of those areas of life that gets put on the back burner. We’ve realized, especially lately, how important it is to take time for one another, to think before we speak, to apologize when necessary, and to spend time with the Lord, together.

that is wonderful! we try to get away for a weekend every fall and try to get in a date night every 2 or 3 weeks – so worth the scheduling and expense 🙂
I’m so happy for you! Having been married 25 years I can attest to Gods ability to renew your love for one another! Id like to thank you for such kind comments on. My blog. I never imagined things would be so painful and hard for her/us. I amm sure she feels abandoned by God and wonders how she ended up in this nightmare. She has her running shoes on and I pray that no matter where she goes he will chase after her. (I have no doubt he will!)
