Today’s TTT post is up on Jill’s blog. Can I tell you what a deep “dig” it was for me to find honest words of surrender for this post? I’m being open here, so go easy on me!!
This adoption journey is one that tests every bit of surrender that you have. Wanting so badly, in your finite being, to take everything into your own hands, but knowing that His way is the only way!
Continue to pray for complete surrender during this waiting time. Q and I have spent this time really talking about Godly parenting and how our lives are going to change (mostly for the better!) when “Little J” becomes ours; we’re thinking optimistically around here!
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Philippians 4:8
I pray that you all had a great CHRISTmas with your families and remembered what the true meaning of the season is!
And, before I leave, I want to recommend the book that Q and I have been going through;
It truly has been a blessing to go through this together and prepare our hearts for what’s to come in the near future!!!!
Love you, all!

Kudos to you guys for this journey to adoption! My husband and I have talked about it, but since we aren’t ready to start our family yet, we haven’t made any definite plans. Thanks for sharing your heart. 🙂

Hi!!! I am so excited that I found you on Jen’s Location Central blog!!! I am in NC too so I wanted to say hi! I also can’t wait to read all about your adoption journey. My husband and I found out about 2 years ago that we can’t have children and we may look into adoption one day. 🙂
