Did You Hear!?

December 24, 2010 by Christie 9 Comments

…about our interview, that is!?

Well, if you didn’t, it went great! Now, we’re waiting to find out if we’re chosen! Can you say, “Excruciating!”

Luckily, I have a few things to keep me busy over the next couple of weeks.

This week it was the anticipation of a “White Christmas” here in NC. If you don’t know, that never happens here (twice in the past 100 something years!). But, it never fails, the forecasters always disappoint around here. It’s looking to just be a nasty Christmas day with a possible dusting 🙁

Ironically, next week is my post for Teen Talk Tuesday; did you hear what the topic for this month is? “Surrendering It All to Christ”…pretty funny, huh!? I’m pretty sure I’ll be digging deep for Godly wisdom on this one and prayerfully, He’ll give me that complete ability to surrender it all to Him over the next few weeks.

And, next Friday (New Years Eve) Q and I, along with my sister and brother-in-law, will be heading to the Clemson bowl game in town. As you know, I’m a huge Tiger fan; hopefully we can get a win! And, we’ll be doing our extended family Christmas that Saturday, which I always look forward to.

So, I have plenty to keep me occupied during this agonizing wait! Continue to pray for Godly wisdom; for Q and I, the social workers, etc. And, for “Little J’s” heart to be prepared for a transition!!

Love you all!
