HIV and Adoption

September 1, 2010 by Christie 4 Comments

My blog buddy Rachel has been blogging about her heart for HIV+ orphans over the last few days…

If you have time, please read her last 4 posts (it’s a chronological series). Her view has really changed my perspective!

Intro: A Series is Born
Part 1: How God Opened Our Hearts to HIV
Part 2: HIV: I Want That Kind of Faith
Part 3: The Stigma is a Lie (& Satan is the Liar)

Please become a follower of Rachel’s and follow along the next 3 days as she completes her series on how God opened her eyes and heart to HIV+ orphans.

I’ve been following this series and I think it’s great that she’s doing it. Hopefully it’s opening a lot of eyes to the truth of HIV.

Thank you for sharing this! The more people that can get an education, and realize just how NOT hard it is, the more children get homes. 🙂 We need to lose the stigma!!

there is SUCH a need for families for HIV+ children – thank you for getting the word out! 6,000 children are orphaned daily by HIV – wow. And thank you for all your prayers and sharing in our joy 🙂
