Ohhh it’s been a long week. I have missed my husband SO bad and I have stayed SO busy and the days have crawled by SO slowly…and I am SO tired!
I have nothing but great things to blog about…
Wednesday night went really well. I had about 10 youth…pretty good for a Wednesday night. And God spoke…because it sure wasn’t me! My lesson was on James – Faith Without Works – and I entitled it “Living Out Your Faith”. I really drove home the point of living an active faith and testing yourself to see if your faith is “dead” or “alive”. As teenagers, are you joining the crowd or are you setting yourself apart? It’s so hard to be a teenager these days…especially a Christian teenager. But, it’s so important that they know that just as they hold Q and I to a higher standard, we hold them to the same standard. The world is watching, either to say, “I knew it wasn’t real.” or to say, “I knew it was real.”
Are you living an active, living, saving faith or is your faith dead? Jesus Christ didn’t die for our salvation just for us to live however we want. We are called to make Jesus look good! We are called to be set apart. We are called to cut against the grain and be the change that this world truly needs. I challenge you to wake up every morning with a prayer…
Lord, help me to strive to do all things for your glory. Help me to show the world what your love truly looks like. Help me to show people that You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Lord, help me to do all things, even eating and drinking, for Your glory. Help me to love You the way that You love me…help me to impact this world for eternity.
I guarantee He will guide you every step of the way…He never fails…even though the world may think He does…He is sovereign and He reigns…
