Remembering Mandy Kelly from Worshipful Living

Tuesday, March 21, started like any other day around our house. I got the kids off to school and came home to do some work. ¬†Around 9:30 a member of our Facebook Mastermind Group (a group of about 10 Christian women bloggers that support one another through blogging and life) posted that she'd seen some chatter on Mandy's Facebook profile and wanted to see how we could pray for her. ¬†It wasn't 20 minutes later that we all realized what was going on... First, I forgot to update that our "age setback" really wasn't a setback!! I contacted another agency and it turns out the age requirement was an Ethiopia "thing" not an agency "thing". Well the snow/ice has melted and today it's raining...yuck!!I don't mind rain but when your backyard includes a hill that drains all of the water into your backyard and makes it all mud, it's no fun!! Especially when you let the dogs out … {Read More}

Like a TON of bricks….

So, last night, during my quiet time, after doing my bible study that we're going through at church (Heaven by Randy Alcorn) I proceeded to read my bible, as I do every night.I started in Galatians this past week (I read a chapter every night) and last night was chapter 4. As I began to read I got to verse 4-5 and I chuckled, looked a Q, and cried....But when the fullness of time had come, God … {Read More}
