Remembering Mandy Kelly from Worshipful Living
Tuesday, March 21, started like any other day around our house. I got the kids off to school and came home to do some work. Around 9:30 a member of our Facebook Mastermind Group (a group of about 10 Christian women bloggers that support one another through blogging and life) posted that she'd seen some chatter on Mandy's Facebook profile and wanted to see how we could pray for her. It wasn't 20 minutes later that we all realized what was going on... Mandy, her husband Scott, and their … {Read More}
Surgery Day
Well, it's about 12:30PM and we've been waiting around since about 10AM. The nurse came out around 11:30 and said that they had just started...so, we've reallly only been waiting for an hour...sigh!I had my little break down last night as I was riding home from spending the afternoon at the hospital. Sunday was spent with our church family and I never could I have imagined what Monday would bring...At 1:30am I received a phone call that my mom was rushing my dad to the emergency room. He was having trouble … {Read More}
Stepping Out of the Comfort Zone
Last night I was reading "Adopted for Life" by Russell Moore and I came to chapter five entitled, "Paperwork, Finances, and Other Threats to Personal Sanctification". Great timing if you ask me...As you see to the right, I dove in last night and decided to create a ChipIn donation widget. I have been struggling with this concept for the last few weeks. Pulling in both directions of, "I don't want … {Read More}
